I haven't caught many, one of the pokemon in my team was caught in the wild but.. Well, I was't the one doing the catching. Just seems to me like the ones I've seen in the Cherrygrove area aren't to my liking. Gotta catch the strong ones, eh?

The first few routes have little variety. Are you looking for a type in particular?

It was... Left behind. His owner went back.

Something that can breathe fire or something would be nice, this weather is terrible and I haven't been able to cook anything since I got here.

...I see. I also received two Pokémon that way.

The closest wild Fire-types can be found between Goldenrod and Ecruteak. Obtaining an egg might be easier.

Where do you think I'd get my hands on one? Last time I got an egg, it randomly appeared in my bag. I don't think that'll be happening any time soon, and even if it does, it wouldn't be in my control.

I know a girl who breeds Growlithes, and there were a few people selling eggs last month.But I do not know if any of them are available at the moment.
