Her name is Cresselia. She's one of the local Pokémon, but I'd never seen her before today. [Said Cresselia trills a greeting and stares back at Rydia.]

[Rydia takes the sandwich, though hungry as she is, holds off for a moment.]

Hello, Cresselia. I'm not sure I understand what a Pokemon is, but it's nice to meet you.

Pokémon are both the local monsters and the local Eidolons. There are hundreds of them, and most are friendly. Isn't that right, Rosie, Avenger, Esuna, Flare? [When exactly did that Clefairy, that Banette, that Butterfree and that Growlithe appear beside Rydia?]

It's not nice to sneak up on a young lady, everyone. [Except they look more curious than scary.]

And one of my swords, for Avenger. I wanted a link to home, no matter how small. A lot of people do that. One of my friends even named his bird after his Chocobo.

We could try finding them. They left to get a lady friend, but it looks we can teleport today.

[Rydia gets two waves, a flutter of wings and a friendly bark. Oh, and four little faces coming closer. They've never seen a little girl this tiny before.]
