35th moon [video]

It appears I'll have to watch more than one pair of my Pokémon closely, from now on.

[In the foreground, four Swablu eggs, resting on handmade pillows. In the background, one Altaria and one Dragonite, arguing as ever. In the middle, one Cecil Harvey, sighing.]

The eggs will hatch into Swablus, and I sell them for P1500. If you add in P100, you'll ( Read more... )

maybe a little domestic now?, pillows for everyone!, strongly needs a drink, not actually a breeder

My goodness, they certainly are lively. But they were able to get along enough to lay those eggs? [Kazuma thinks he might know a couple or two like that back home...]

May I ask what type the Swablu is? I've been meaning to expand my team, and this might be the perfect opportunity.

I think they manage to lay the eggs because they could not get along long enough, actually.

Swablus are Normal- and Flying-types. However, upon evolving, they lose the first to become Dragon-types instead.

[That gets a chuckle out of him.] I think I see what you mean.

Dragon/Flying? That sounds like a fitting combination. [He nods to himself.] If you still have one available, may I take it in for you?

While it is rather fitting, it is also quite weak to Ice-type attacks.

Of course. Where would you like me to send it?

Ice-type? Thank you, I'll be sure to remember that. I don't believe I've seen any Ice-type Pokémon in my travels yet... Are they uncommon?

I'm currently staying at the Azalea inn. Ah -- [He starts a little, as if remembering himself.] My apologies. My name is Kazuma Sohma. Thank you for your generosity. [He bows his head to the camera politely.]

There was a swarm of them in December; otherwise, I've only heard of their presence in the Ice Path. But the TM Ice Beam can be bought by anyone with access to a catalog.

My name is Cecil. Cecil Harvey. [He bows eleganly.] It is a pleasure to meet you, Kazuma. You should receive your egg within two days. Kayne will take care of the delivery.

[He points at the Dragonite.]

[He nods thoughtfully.] TM... Those are the items that teach Pokémon new moves, yes?

It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Cecil-san. I'll keep an eye out for him to arrive. Should I give him my payment when he does?

They are. Most can be bought in Goldenrod, but a few are gifts from defeated Gym leaders.

That will be fine. All of my Pokémon know how to deal with money.

I see. I believe I remember Kyo receiving one from Falkner when he won that badge. [Kazuma pauses a moment, remembering that there's a gym in Azalea as well. Perhaps he should consider challenging it, if only to take his mind off things.

Finally he nods.] I shall have it ready for him. 1500 Pokédollars, you said? Thank you again.

That must have been Roost. It has its drawbacks, but those two both seem to enjoy it.

[Yet he never had the chance to buy Shinn something in return for his TM. That's a shame.]

That's exact; you're welcome. I hope the two of you will get along.
