It appears I'll have to watch more than one pair of my Pokémon closely, from now on.

[In the foreground, four Swablu eggs, resting on handmade pillows. In the background, one Altaria and one Dragonite, arguing as ever. In the middle, one Cecil Harvey, sighing.]

The eggs will hatch into Swablus, and I sell them for P1500. If you add in P100, you'll ( Read more... )

maybe a little domestic now?, pillows for everyone!, strongly needs a drink, not actually a breeder

They do seem rather popular, especially with young ladies. It's a shame we csnnot catch wild ones in Johto.

They are beautiful after all. I can actually understand.

Their voices are also absolutely lovely, when they sing. It makes me wonder why Sing attacks have to put everyone who hears them to sleep.

It makes me wonder too.

[ Remembered that she had forgotten to introduce herself. ]

I apologize. I began speaking without introducing myself. My name is Lacus Clyne. It is really nice to meet you.

My name is Cecil. Cecil Harvey. [He bows elegantly.] It's a pleasure to meet you, Lacus. Heve you been in Johto for a long time?

The pleasure is all mine.

[ Bows back. ] No. Not long. I arrived here about... three weeks ago.

Three weeks is a very good start. Some manage to disappear even before that.

But.... don't they return home?

They do, but they usually do so by abandoning new friends. If we are to stay here for some time, is it not better to stay long enough to build strong friendships?

I had thought of that... but at the same time, it would be unlike me to not wish to make friends at least.

Its true that someday I will be returned to my own world, but until then I wish to do what I can for the friends I have now.

It'd be nice if we could all find a way to communicate between worlds before we leave. It'd allow us to return home while still keeping in contact with everyone we meet here.

[ Becomes quiet for a moment before answering. ]

Or allow us to keep our memories of this place at least.

...That, too. Too many people leave and return with no memories of this world. It tends to upset their remaining Pokémon.

[ Thinking of her Mister Pink now. It would probably devastate him. ]

It is a sad truth, isn't it? You can return home, but the exchange is too much.

...It might be a sad thing to say, but for my son's sake, even that price would be acceptable to pay.
