В шпионском деле каналы связи с "центром" занимают центральное место. Каналы необходимы для передачи инструкций и информации, но при этом они являются самым уязвимым местом в спецоперации.

Что касается тайных каналов связи Трампа с Кремлем, то был обнаружен не один, а целых пять различных каналов:

1. Через Флинна путем прямых звонков Кисляку.

2. Через Кушнера тоже с выходом на Кисляка, а также Горкова в Нью-Йорке.

Белый дом до сих пор не смог придумать разумного объяснения тайному каналу связи, который Кушнер обсуждал с Кисляком. Одна зацепка, запущенная через New York Times и Fox News, была про Сирию:

The idea of a permanent back channel was never discussed, according to the source. Instead, only a one-off for a call about Syria was raised in the conversation.

Допустим, у Трампа был тайный план победы над ИГИЛ, этот план включал Россию и поэтому потребовалось осуждение по тайному каналу. Но непонятно, причем тут Горков и Внешэкономбанк и о чем были обсуждения до выборов. Джош Маршалл, который изо всех сил пытался придумать невинное неконспирологическое объяснение поведению Трампа, после последних известий о Кушнере сдался:

There’s simply no innocent explanation for that. Not naivete, no fear of Obama snooping, not plausible deniability. The only explanation for that level of secrecy and security, that level of collaboration with an adversary foreign power is that they were doing something wrong, something that had to stay secret. Дополнительный персонаж, который засветился в этом канале - помощник Кушнера Avrahm Berkowitz.

Про Ави Берковица мало что известно. Он правоверный иудей, окончил Гарвардскую юридическую школу в 2016 и стал немедленно работать на Кушнера и избирательную кампанию Трампа.

5. Через Майкла Коэна в Праге в августе-сентябре 2016. Об этом канале говорится в досье Стила, но информация пока не подтверждена и самим Коэном отрицается.

Майкл Koэн  - мутный персонаж со связями в российском преступном мире. Он же был посредником Феликса Саттера, передавшим Майклу Финну украинский план. Коэн начал работать на Трампа в 2006 - тот год, когда Саттер сопровождал детей Трампа в поездке в Москву.

When Trump’s children Donald Jr. and Ivanka were planning a trip to Moscow in 2006, Sater said that Trump asked him to squire them around the city. “They were on their way by themselves, and he was all concerned,” Sater said. “He asked if I wouldn’t mind joining them and looking after them while they were in Moscow.”

Свой юридический диплом Коэн получил в Cooley Law School - одной из худших (если не самой худшей) юридической школе в стране. Но недостатки образования он, видимо, заменяет другими достоинствами.
