Вне самоосознания человека нет, значит нет свободного выбора, Вне осознания перспективы -смерти самоосознание невозможно. Вне чувства страха это невозможно.И Августин и Фрейд ,каждый по своему,видели одно-поврежденную природу человека,другой не будет, повреждение может быть преодолено только Спасением из вне. Человеку ценно именно осознанные попытки ,пусть и кажущиеся бесплодными, преодоления собственной поврежденной природы .
Говоря секулярно,в терминологии Фромма,это попытки преодоления(или не преодоления, возрастание степени деградации) "некрофилии","влечения к смерти" как варианта способа преодоления стресса.
Тут много неясного с архаическим сознанием и стресс-факторами ему.Ясно одно,архаическое,маскирующееся под "консерватизм" ,сознание способно преодолевать "стресс" только избыточной смертностью,
