I admire you very much, for the great amount of depth and improvement that I've seen in your fics over the last year. And, also, your dedication to this pairing. I've thoroughly enjoyed the way that these two have developed, through your pen, over time. If I hadn't already been a hopeless fangirl, you would have totally converted me. Oh wow, I'm speechless and blushing. That almost never happens (I'm not a blusher)!

I can't say that I've always been a fan of this pairing (I started out as a rabid S/S-shipper four years ago), but when I actually began to write fics, I found I couldn't really write S/S. I'm not sure how it happened, but instead I found my niche in Fuuma/Subaru. But it's sad that more people don't write for this wonderful pairing! I've found very few fics beyond my own...

*laughs* I know how that is. I discovered Tokyo Babylon about five years back, and so entered into X as a hardcore S&Ser. However, after a few months of scribbling, it became apparent that, against the then-bnfs, I wasn't very useful to fandom. So I tried my hand at Fuuma/Kamui, which turned out to be one of the best things I ever did for myself. Not to mention, it's been fun revolutionizing that sect of fandom, since, at that time, it was virtually non-existent in writing. (I do also write Fuuma/Subaru and Seishirou/Fuuma periodically, but tend not to share most things I pen.) So I understand.

Perhaps it will be good for me to see someone else putting out things of this sort. It might actually inspire me to post some of my own stuff. XD

Hm... well, I don't have any presentable Fuuma/Subaru on hand (not since I shut down my fic archive in 2002) but I do have some Seishirou/Fuuma still laying around in my journal. It's only a snippet, but the story as a whole is pretty badass. In fact, it's been kicking my ass for nearly two years, writing it. XD

Okay, correction: I just rechecked the documentation and the actual date on that specific entry, and I totally suck. I have, in fact, been writing "Space Between" for three years now. *swirls* But, ah, since it was originally slated to be 11 chapters (roughly 200 pages) long, I don't feel entirely bad about that. >.>;
