Lincolnshire police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:21 PM Wednesday September 13, 2017 to a report of police activity following an armed robbery and a crash near Half Day Road and Milwaukee Avenue Lincolnshire, Il. Buffalo Grove police and Lincolnshire police are working on an active armed robbery case.
Police were searching the area for three male black subjects - armed with handguns. One suspect is possibly in custody.
Police Activity and fire staging is also located in the area of Route 45 and Milwaukee
Lincolnshire-Riverwoods firefighter/paramedics were also on the scene of a crash in the area of Olde Half Day Rd and Milwaukee Avenue.
Deerfield firefighter/paramedics also have an ambulance in the area.
Police have an active mutual aid ILEAS reponse on the scene.
Northbound Milwaukee Avenue is blocked at Old Half Day Road.
The suspects were last eastbound on foot from Half Day Road and Milwaukee Avenue.
A police helicopter is also overhead searching for the suspect, and was overhead by about 8:40 p.m.
One suspect was reported held by police at gunpoint in the area.
One suspect is also reported floating on a log in the Des Plaines River.
