Zouk was a disaster yesterday night. It was so crowded they stop sales of zouk and phuture tickets, and they only allow admission to people with velvet stamps at 2.30am. I was stuck at velvet with dex and tid and even velvet was full. Eric had to come over to velvet to look for me. Eventually, I decided not to wait till 2.30am so I left around 2. Never again am I going to go to Zouk during the end of the school hols. I heard Zouk itself was like a can of beans. Sorry Charles, for not going in the end.
Have been wanting to blog a few days back but ever since I came back from KL, I was swarmed by a pile of work. Managed to clear most of yesterday afternoon which explains why I was so free to go zouk and to blog today. Left work slightly earlier to go to shopping and made a few rather extravagent purchases. Went to Citibank to check my credit card balance and I think I really got carried away this month. I just cleared my credit card bill 10 days ago and now I've a balance of about 2k again , I'm fast going to become a credit card slave. I'm going to pay everything by cash from now on and minimise my card usage to keep a closer watch on my expenditure.
Orchard road was bad too. Extremely crowded and the rain didn't help. I wonder how does anyone do any shopping there. It takes me 15 mins to walk to the Mrt station when it's just 2 mins away in actual distance. Everyone was standing shoulder to shoulder. I can't see how anyone can do any shopping when all the goods are blocked from sight and you have to queue 15 mins just to buy a small item. Even Tiffany and LV was bustling with people and all the staff are occupied. Such a drastic difference from just a few days ago when I was shopping in KL, huge multi storey shopping centres with lots of walking space. Shopping was really great there. Less crowd, slower pace, cheaper prices and good service.
Makes me want to go overseas again..... I'll probably go in Jan.(if I ever get my bloody leave approved)
