I know they know the way I think
Long weekend, I pissed it away basically doin nothing, only because i've been feeling like shit. I had plans to hang out with Shawn on Friday, but I was feeling shitty so i ended up not going. Then I was talkin to Nicole online and she asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with her and a couple of her friends and I told her no, same reason I canceled plans with Shawn.
I went to sleep for a couple of hours, then my dad woke me up asking me if I wanted to go see some Kind of Monster (movie about Metallica) with my Uncle Tom. I jumped on that like a fat kid on a Twinkie. It was inside and airconditioned, and the humidity's been a fuckin pain to my breathin, whatever this crap is that I have. I went with Tom, Linda, Jay, and Coleen. The movie was alright, I liked it. I got a new appreciation of St. Anger. But Uncle Ricky thinks that they sold out and won't look at anythin past the black album. He just sticks with the old stuff. I don't blame him to be quite honest, they've changed alot and they lost that flame that they had in the beginning. They were before my time so I can't really make any judgment, all I know is that they remind me of the Ramones. They just play their old stuff because thats what the fans want to hear, and they will occasionally play something new, but not too much.
So afterwards went back to Uncle Tom and Aunt Linda's house and had a couple of beers and just shot the shit. I like hanging out with them. They're pretty cool to talk to and wicked chill. I'd like to hang out with them more often. Well, gtg, got research to take care of for tommorrow.
Oh shit, just found out, Green Day's comming out with a new disk. I figured they be burned out by now. This should be interesting hearing it.
