Things have been busy around here, but I guess that's pretty expected.
I've been working on a new recipe for scones but there's been a lot of trial and error on that front, as I'm...not quite sure how to get the consistency right. They're not bad tasting, but they're not the best, either. Other than that, it's been the usual -- cakes, cookies, pudding, puffs.
Congratulations on the successful concerts so far, Ninomiya-kun! Watching you guys up there was a really, really wonderful time, and it was like we were back in Tokyo, except there were more people with Bidoof uchiwas than anyone else. That was kind of like a reality check...but everyone's hair was looking good, Yassan's magician's assistant outfit was amazing, and it was a wonderful weekend!
Oh, Maru-chan, you'll be happy to know that the old ladies that like to frequent the bakery went to the concerts and are now absolutely smitten with you! I accidentally let it slip that you're a friend and now they're pestering me to have things delivered to you guys, so if you see a huge Dragonite flying towards you one day, don't worry, she's not trying to attack! She just has fanmail for you. I'm also including some extra pastries, as a thank you to you and Yokocho for taking pictures with Ms. Mime and signing her CD. ♥ You guys are the best!
