Anyway, yes. I am in Egypt (woo!!) And its very nice here. Tres tres hot as well, I did my first dive on Sunday and it was very enjoyable. I wasn't with Khamiss though.. ^_^ The guy I had was called Mido and he was very nice. We dived the first reef that was called Shaam something, I will fill in the names of everything when I have my log book with me!! Yes. And it was a pretty reef with LOADS of coral and a vast array of fishes. Of course we saw a lot of "Nemo's" and we played with them usuing our hands through the anenoemies. We also saw a lot of napolean fish and a HUGE angel fish.
Our next dive was at another site, called "The Anchor" or something along those lines. We found out why it was named that at the end of the dive. When we had swum round the last bit of reef, we began to hear a loud clanking noise (which underwater I found quite scary =P But then again I still haven't gotten used to hearing the engines of the boats when they start over head ^_^ haha get me eh...) And it was an anchor, it was HUGE. I have never seen anything so loud underwater. It was bashing the rock underneath it to smithereens. That was probably the highlight of that dive as the fish were not particularly exciting.
Then that was the end of our dives for that day. On Tuesday(!?) Today, we went on a different boat with the Voodoo Dive School. This was really friendly and nice, especially as we were on the boat with some English people where as before we had only had Russians and Germans who were very grumpy AND stole my chair. Anyway, the first dive was good, apart from my BCD being too big and triening to slip off =( And the next dive was AMAZING. I didn't use up so much air because I was calmer and we say some very big and colourful fish. And, the highlight, a barracuda!! It was wonderful and followed us round lots.
There is some [[very]] good news however: I have met a girl called Erenn {{dont know how to spell it}} and shes so nice!! Shes doing her advanced padi however so shes diving everyday... ^_+
Yes, but shes lovely. She has three brothers. They are all now friends of Hetty's. It was cool because this is her first time in Egypt, and she doesn't go to central Hurghada I showed her everything. Last night we went to the shops and we had tea with an Egyptian Man called Micheal. (Pronounced Michelle!) He was very nice, and told us he did a degree in English and that is why his English is so good. He also told us of how once, a Russian girl came into his shop and tried on a bikini, he suddenly heard a smash and came into the shop. She said "Sorry its broken" and he went in there to find she had smashed the mirror, he said to this day he cannot work out how it happened. Hahaha. Then we went to the beach and I showed her how to smoke shisha. And we did a bit, more than a bit, a lot. And then I nearly threw up... Lol. We drank like 5 cups of mint tea and had lots of Shisha. ^_^ . Oh wild party girls we are ehh... Hehe.
Today we are going to get a pedallo and me and Hetty are snorkelling off the edge of it. Later on we are shopping in Down Town and thats where we are eating, (see if we can do it cheaper than $3.50 for 4 people...) and then I have to be back by 5:00 because Erenn will be back off the dive boat, I think they are deep-diving today and so I am excited to see how that went. On Thursday I will be going on the boat also, if only to see Erenn's pretty boy {{who is VERY VERY pretty}} XD And I am not diving as I feel pretty tired. I am snorkelling with Greg though I think. We are hopefully visiting the big reef on that day, and so there will be lots of stuff to look at.
No sir I did not steal your fucking camel.
