And so my uncle, who usually kind of keeps the conversation to hiking and asian people started talking about music today. And how he saw every great band from the 60's and 70's. At least twice. Led Zeppelin eight times. Bob Dylan three. Pink Floyd four times. Cream twice. Grateful dead twice. The Beatles twice. David Bowie twice. The list goes on.
Tell me, how is this fair? Will my kids be wishing they saw the bands I did when I was 16?
Somehow I doubt it. Where have all the good bands gone? I mean even 80's music was borderline good/ridiculous. But the 90's have brought nothing but Nickleback and Savage Garden. And then theres Ashlee Simpson in 2004. Great music icons?
