Jeordie White
So I've been obsessed with Jeoride White/Twiggy Ramirez since before I knew he was a man. My mom listened to Manson when I was in elementary school, and he was the only person I could name in the band at the time besides Manson himself. As I grew up I developed a deep passion for him and the music he creates from Manson, to Goon Moon, to him just playing with NIN.
Mighty Boosh
So Ivy and I were talking about what a little skank hoe Courtney Love is one time and this topic eventually led to Noel Fielding who I had never heard of and this led to her showing me the Mighty Boosh. I told my father about it and chaos insued. Now not only are my father and I obsessed with it, but so is my moms boyfriend. The other females I love with just think we're insane for watching it. It only adds to the fact that no one in these parts has ever heard of them. I once said I would travel any distance to see them if they came to the states.
Oregon
The land of my birth and where I, currently, still reside. I was born and raised in the same little town here. We're about fourteen miles from the California border and the majority of the town is originally from California, and the part that isn't acts like it. I don't like this town much. However, Northern Oregon, (as opposed to Southern) is amazing. Portland has my heart. It's a big city, but I don't feel scared out at midnight by myself. Eugene is cool too, but it's too hippy for me. Over all Oregon has amazing wilderness.
Nine Inch Nails
I've seen them three times so far, and again in May. Not only that but May will be the third show in less than twelve months. I feel slightly creepy and stalkerish, but then I realize it's probably not that bad. Uhm, NIN is one of the few bands I never get sick of, or that it takes a hell of a long time to get sick of. The Fragile is one of my favorite albums of all time, and if you ask me Trent Reznor is one of the greatest things to ever happen to music.
Britain
I have loved Britain since the Spice Girls, which means kindergarden for me. I find the humor funnier, I believe the cutting edge is far more cutting edge over there, and I love that the media isn't quite as shallow. I plan on studying in Britain as much as I can during college, and if my life works out the way I want it I'l marry a nice British boy and we'll live happily ever after. Plus, Ivy lives there and we need to meet, ASAP.
