(no subject)
So it is just about 3am and I am still up. If it's like last last night and I am up until 4am or so that will be fan-freak'ntastic. I didn't go to class today because you know when you feel so tired and your eyes are sore? Your eyes just need to be closed and you look like ass. That was me today. So I stayed home and slept. I felt minimal guilt since my language arts class is a waste of my time ( I have a BA specializing in English) and I learn absolutely NOTHING. Science is also a bust because the guy just reads overheads to us that are up on WebCT anyway. I can get the notes if there are any.
Moving on...so today when I was feeling like absolute crap I thought to myself that this must be punishment for feeling like myself last week. Which is totally insane because people without depression have good and bad days. But I still feel like I am part of a cruel joke. I did drag myself out of bed to go for a ride in Colin's rental vehicle. He got into a car accident just before Christmas. No one was hurt but his Chevy Blazer had a flesh wound on the back bumper. So it is getting fixed and Colin is now driving a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. Very nice indeed...Colin might buy one. It's on his list of maybes for a new vehicle. Since he works for GM he gets vehicles at cost so he can actually buy pricey GM vehicles. Anyway the 2006 trailblazer has a very smooth ride compared to the 2005 and 2004 (people in my extended family have them).
I went to a bridal show last weekend and I won something. I won a night in a premier guestroom and breakfast in a 4 1/2 star hotel here in Edmonton. For the curious it's at http://www.unionbankinn.com
I think I will get a room in the heritage wing if I could because the contemporary ones while beautiful, would be just like any other fancy hotel rooms I think. I was poking around their website and if I was rich it would be amazing to have a reception there. Note the "if I was rich." On to wedding stuff since it might cheer me up..we have the date, the place, the minister, the photographer and the DJ booked already. Not bad for it being in Aug. 2007. But Regina is a pretty small city and unless you want to get married in a hole you have to plan early.
Colin surprised me with a small stuffed lamb I wanted last week. His name is Baasley. He is made by Russ. http://www.tableandhome.com/prodhbhaa
Mine is the small one that is in the bottom left hand corner but you get the idea. The pink nose is so cute.
Also why is it that when I hit friends only on security at live journal it doesn't show up in anyone's friend's pages until I make it public under security? *infuriated* I hate being techno-stupid.
