update
Hey everybody,
So its almost been a week since I've arrived in good ol' Kelowna BC. The house is super nice, I really like it. i have a little car to drive around. its a 323 woot!! It's also standard, but I got that down thanks to my cousin and his fiance's brother. Good times.
This weekend was kind of busy surprisingly. Friday went out with my roommate Justin to Moxie's for some food and some drinks. Then some other friends came out too and then we all headed to this place called Rusty's for some more drinks. We ended up back at the house with a bunch of people and played some poker. I came out second overall! Not too shabby! Saturday i went over to my aunts for some breakfast and then afterwards my cousin taught me how to drive standard (this isnt the same cousin that I live with) afterwards I just chilled at home and then later on in the evening my cousin Mike and I headed over to my aunts for some dinner. We played some charades which was a ton of fun. Sunday I spent the day with my aunt, went to a winery for the first time which was a ton of fun! and then we picked up some stuff for thanksgiving dinner. Played a game of risk.. ugh that game.. lol and then had some dinner, played cranium (love that game) and then had some pumpkin pie for dessert. Overall great times. Monday I pretty much just spent the day at home reading and then watching some tv. Played some monopoly.. which was fun.
Today I went to the mall and got a phone, bought a coat, some other essentials lol and then to Walmart where I stocked up on some groceries I'm probably good for quite a while.. bought some baking supplies so I made cookies tonight.. turned out pretty good... and then got some hangers, a bookshelf.. overall had a pretty good day.
Tomorrow I'm going to go for a run as I seriously need to get into shape! lol I know you'll all think I'm crazy but I just need to do something. I've been applying to some jobs, I did have a guarenteed job but I didn't take it because it wouldnt pay nearly enough and I felt as though I'd be stuck at that job for awhile and what if something better came along so I'm just going to hold out for awhile and see what else happens. Who knows right? I mean if worst comes to worst then I'll just get a job at an insurance company.
I think I'm finally going to meet up with Dylan tomorrow. We'll see what happens with that. I mean I've been talking to him everyday and all that and he's been pretty busy with school right now.. as all of you that are going to school know.. so we'll see what happens.. who knows.. I'm not going to push it that's for sure.
