(no subject)
so here's some good news and updates to the last entry. :)
i did in fact get the promotion at work. :-D i am now the lead in decorative and from what they're telling me it shouldn't be a whole lot more work than i already do now. just some added paper work. i did get a raise which is awesome. kevin told me he tried to get me more but couldn't because there was a maximum he could give and he reached that with the amount he gave me but hey any raise is better than no raise. and i will have no less than 37.5 hours a week which is totally awesome because now i won't have to fight tooth and nail for time to work. :) i will also have better insurance after one week of being at full time status. :) which is totally awesome because that means my prescription won't be 9 billion dollars every month and i won't need to do this stupid claim business. that makes me wicked happy. :) and this also means that i will get personal and sick time too. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! tim (my manager) talked to me about it today and just let me know what he expected from me. he's really nice and laid back about stuff so he's willing to work with me. and what's really nice is that he knows i'm definitely NOT a morning person so he's willing to let me primarily work mid-shifts instead of working really early in the morning. he's awesome. that was a really nice thing to go into work and find out. that put a big big smile on my face for a while.
i also talked to my aunt today about the phone business. she wants me to go over to her and my uncle's house one night so the three of us can sit down and talk about what we can do to figure it out. they're willing to help me and when i talked to her today about it she said that i shouldn't worry because we'll work something out. i also told her that i was sorry for relying on her and my uncle to help me out with everything like this and i don't want to seem like i'm taking advantage of her and him at all because that's not what i'm out to do. she told me that she understood and everything. i don't know why i get so worried about her sometimes. she is probably the most giving and understanding person i know but yet i always find a way to work myself into a tizzy about stuff like that. hmmm... i'm sure they'll help me and we'll find a way to make this work. i don't know what i would do without them. i really don't.
my valentine's day was nice. i had a good time. :) i hope you all did too.
hmm... plans are still on with holly anne for this weekend. celina will be hanging out with us on sunday. :) i also informed my mom that we will have my bday party sunday so everyone can go including me. ;) hehe... i don't know why i'm so excited for my bday this year but for some reason i think it's going to be one of the better ones yet. :)
i'm checking into this bamboozle festival thing that i've heard some buzzing about. i really would like to go because i would love to see people from jersey like toni and roxy and alexis and everyone. i had so much fun at skate and surf last year and i would love to see them all again. i will be looking into this.
holly and i also have a new project on our hands. hahah... a project. i love how we call our goals projects. we've accomplished two of them and now we've moved onto something else. she knows what i'm talking about and it's grrrr-eat!!!! :)
well i'm off now kiddies. i have to go unpack my stuff from the time i was away.
