just returned from nite 1 of sf
so holly and i went to the sf show in hartford today. it wasn't bad. there was some good and some bad. :) i'll just give you all the skin and bones of what happened.
**holly and i got there at 2:30
**acted silly and did head, shoulders, knees and toes to keep warm
**watched the sf guys back up the van ... hahah super funny
**alicia and her friends showed up around 3:30 (yay)
**i got interviewed by buddy (the funniest time of my life... i'll put a thingy about that below)
**hung out a lil longer
**became a blanket jellyfish and had lots of the bands/workers/other people laughing at us (it was funny but it did get slightly warmer)
**got tickets in the will call line (i'll never do will call again)
**went inside
**show started
**watched paulson (we're good... it took me a while to decide on them though)
**watched moneen (they were amazing as always) :) hehe... yay
**watched midtown... that was slightly painful they played like 3 songs that i actually knew and liked. i love their old stuff (1st album some of the 2nd) and hate their new stuff
**watched senses fail :)
**almost decked an underage fucker for calling holly and me "hot topic bitches" because he was waiting in line for merch and i was going to take a piss... urgh... i hate people sometimes
senses fail was great it was really nice to see them again. i was all excited cuz i've missed them since october. but the set was a lil weird. they most definitely had an off nite tonite but i guess that's ok because everyone's entitled to it every once in a while. in the 11 times we've seen them holly and i haven't seen a bad show but tonite was just really off. dan and mike were getting a lil pissed cuz things were bad. towards the end garrett was getting mad too. buddy's vocals were just off a lot tonite. we think he was too intoxicated but hey it's alright at times. his vocals weren't as good as they usually are and his timing at times was really off. he missed some lyrics and stuff. they started to make up for it after a while so the whole thing wasn't a wreck. i didn't get killed tonite which was really nice. :) yay!!! it was good at times though. mike and garrett would look straight at holly, alicia, and i because we were right on all the time and it made them smile. so that's good. buddy got into the crowd a few times and idky but i always end up with him right in front of me. i got his belt buckle a lil above my eye and i had to pretty much hug him with my right arm so he wouldn't fall over and when he wasn't leaning back his chest was pressed against my face... not the greatest cuz he was really sweaty. ewww... but oh well... i think the weirdest thing was when he screamed cuz i could hear like the insides of his chest rattle... scary. oh well... i still love them regardless.
so yes buddy and lisa (buddy's mom came out to interview us) however everyone that i was with backed away and i ended up on camera getting interviewed. i'll draw out the conversation for you all:

me: yup

buddy: so when was the last you saw us? at toad's right?
me: nope.. the palladium in october
buddy: oh yea... who did we play with?

me: yup that was the one i was thinking spitalfield but i saw them with thursday
buddy: cool cool. so what are you going to do for christmas... wait nevermind the holidays. there are people that dont celebrate christmas
me: probably just be with family
buddy: smoke weed?
me: nope
buddy: get drunk?
me: not really...
buddy: oh... just be with family.
me: yup
buddy: i dont like christmas
me: oh... ok
buddy: have you been to the mall?
me: yep i was there last nite
buddy: yea i can't go to the mall... too many crazy people
me: yea i'll agree to that
buddy: i get panic attacks when there are too many people around. well i hope you all have a nice holiday and i'll see you inside at the show. :)">

well i'm off to bed. holly and i will be up at 7:30 am to drive to jersey for the other 1/2 of our SENSES FAIL CHRISTMAS!!! yay... this should be fun.
