ahh and things are slowly getting better...
alright... so today has been full of good things but i'll reflect on last nite so you know why today is so good.
well the loan for my car didn't end up going through but my aunt is taking out a cash advance on her credit card so i can get my whole car stuff straightened out. :) yay... and i'll just pay her back instead of paying the bank. so we couldn't get the pin number for the transaction over the phone because of privacy laws so they had to mail it to her but my amazing grandparents offered to give me the money to actually purchase the car and then they'd get the money from my aunt when she gets the cash advance. so we did that... so right now the 95 tracker is MINE and it is sitting in my grandma's driveway. :) all mine all mine. :) so i officially have the greatest extended family ever. i'm sooooo lucky to have people like that with me. my mom feels bad because she couldn't help but i understand about that because she can't work due to medical problems and i hate her feeling bad because i know it's not her fault. :-/ but anyways.. i have the car and it's all good. there are still a few things that need to be worked out. like the dimmer switch for the dash is on order and she's gonna mail it to me when it comes in and the speedometer isn't quite working at the moment but when we get the cash advance money we're going to put it in the shop and get the dimmer put in, the speedometer fixed, and new shocks put on. that way there is NOTHING wrong with it. :) and that makes me happy.
and last nite my sister called and needed directions home from her fieldhockey camp in fairfield because she forgot to get them. hahah... yep she's a blond. ;) *no offense* but i needed the computer to get them and lately our computer has been fucked up because people in this house don't know how to take care of it. they download shit on here that doesn't belong on it and stupid stuff. but i got incredibly frustrated with it last nite and just gave up on trying to fix it for an hour and a half because i needed to get online to get the directions for my sister. but i couldn't so i got pretty upset. well this morning i said fuck it and i did a system recovery to set everything back to the way it was and now it works and all. i'm glad that is fixed because now i can't get blamed for it not working. there are a few things i need to tweak like the icon size on the desktop and color schemes but that's all minor. so i'm glad that's all over with. and i have my sister's directions now. :)
so all in all today hasn't been incredibly awful. i leave for work at 4:30 and i'm working til 10. then my aunt is picking me up and taking me to her house because even though i have a car it isn't exactly drivable... (no registration or insurance) so i still am bumming rides from the fam but that'll stop next week. yay. :) so then i'll stay with my aunt tonite and then work the yard sale (more like nap) tomorrow morning and then go to work. woops... i forgot i need to pack my stuff so i have clothes for later and all. :) hehe... ooo...tomorrow is actually dress down day at work. maybe i'll do that. hehe :) that'd be nice. jeans for me tomorrow at work. yes... :) this day keeps getting better.
the only downside to work now is that i'm working 9 days straight and that is NOT fun. i worked tuesday, wednesday, yesterday, today, tomorrow, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday and then i finally have thursday and friday off of next week.
