humpty dumpty had a great time sitting on the wall for a while till he died
my psych class sounds interesting. i like the fact it's 4 hours only because we get through a whole stretch of material in one sitting. i learn better that way, i don't forget. it didn't seem like 4 hrs anyway; the prof is interesting. she's from APU, a grad professor too so she knows her stuff.
ughh there are 4 sets of couples in the class, it's disgusting. i really don't need to see that PDA, especially now. i like the people in the class though, it's relatively small, about 40.
it was cool, the prof asked what psych was and i raised my hand saying one thing would be studying theories on why we do what we do. so she said, "in regards to what?" and i said, "well, emotionally, physically, spiritially, mentally..." and she said, "how so, spiritually," and i totally didnt even realize i said spiritually so here i am at citrus w/ these people i don't know and i'm like, "well faith, no matter who it's in, it really shapes a person. and psychologists have different theories on it because they're realizing that spirituality has a strong impact on people's lives." dude i never say stuff like that. thanx Dad.
then we got into small groups to write 4 things we wanted to know about psychology and a lot had to do w/ God, like why people have faith, what impact does religion have, etc. it was cool, people really want to know this stuff.
i reall am glad i'm going to citrus this semester, to get out of whatever bubble (if any) i have put myself in, check myself at the door and really search out.
