Can't believe it's been 12 years since I opened an LJ account. My interests have... I don't want to say 'changed' because I'm still into all the things I was into 12 years ago though not as fervently. More like, expanded. I finally met people who are just as obsessed with The Beatles as I was, my brother's gaming universe and mine collided, and I got lucky enough to party with some of the last rockstars alive.
Also, I've rediscovered my passion for medicine, then I became jaded, and now have settled with doing this for the rest of my life. My mental health got better, I stopped having to see my therapist regularly, moved across the world from her, had several attacks over the years (the Brett Kavanaugh hearing drove me off a particularly high cliff), missed my therapist like mad, picked myself up with a lot of exercise, and now I'm doing alright in an online support group.
I guess this is a drop by message.
Brexit is in a month. Let's see where I'm at in 2020.
