If you didn't know this already I have a twin sister. And further if you didn't know we're as different as night and day. I won't get into it, we just are. But we always have these random twin moments like today. For some reason we both purchased the same random item by accident yesterday. We had a good laugh about it this morning. We've grown a lot closer since we haven't had to live with each other and it's been an interesting experience.
I wonder how Shannon and I's relationship as sisters compare to other siblings. We fought often, but I don't think our parents noticed. We fought when no one was looking and we were violent. I mean, Shannon used to grow her nails out and just slice me up with them. I used to have to check my body after we fought to look for blood. Even one time, we had a play (real) key set and my sister stabbed me right where the collarbone area that dips between the shoulder and the neck is. And I had bleeding nail marks across my chest because she didn't want to vacuum popcorn off the floor, and many other violent encounters, which basically occurred until junior high school.
What's strange is that we always had the same friends, and we didn't really fight in front of them. Of course when we did it was a sight to see.
Well I'm not sure about why I posted this, but I've been having some great times with my sister and we're still so very far apart. But I think that's the best thing about being a twin. There will never be anyone you'll know longer in the world because both of us have a nine month long leg up on everyone else.
I mean, it's just how we roll bitches.
I really hate to see the person that crosses both of us. While we're both present. I'd be like throwing a live cow in at starving lions.
Whose up for a trip to the International House of Pancakes on Friday night? Remember I don't work Saturday and we can meet back at my apt. for, uh, stuff...
