Never gonna NOT lock my door
Well at 6:15 this morning I woke up to some unknown person trying to get into my apartment.
I had woken up 15 minutes before, and I was just lying around watching the news not wanting to get up for work when I heard someone walking in the hallway outside my door. I looked up automatically, but was surprised when the door handle twisted.
Actually I was shocked/terrified. Sometimes I lie down on the couch to watch TV and inadvertently not lock the door beforehand because I just pass out. And all I could think about before work is that if I had forgotten to do that last night I would have been staring at some stranger. This person didn't knock they just tried to walk in.
I also realized that being terrified doesn't feel the same like when you are watching a horror movie. I felt numb, but as I always do I just reasoned the situation until I felt comfortable again. I have surmised that it was probably a drunk neighbor trying to get into their/a friend's apartment.
On a lighter note, I don't work next Saturday. I expect merriment and hot sex. Well maybe just the merriment. In other words: Be Available, times like these don't come often for me.
