Eh, nothing rhymes with Thursday...
Today, today was a good day.
I still have some things to conquer on my to do list, but still today was good. I didn't go to sleep until 5 a.m. and I really wanted to get up early and that was way out of the question when I decided to be a night owl. Luckily my dad called me at about 10:30 and had a great conversation with him for almost and hour. He really gets me in line and thinking about my life and finances. He's so freaking awesome, I wish I could see him more than just once a year.
I also got into another marathon chat with my mom. We were on the phone for two hours today. We talked TV, what she's been up to and not to mention my rotten grandmother (her mom). My mom is the greatest inspiration I could ask for. I wouldn't trade my relationship with my mom (or dad for that matter) for anything. I love our talks about what we watch on TV, we are too funny. Both of them said that they were proud of me today, too and that was humbling to hear, because I'm so incredibly proud of them.
Then I helped Chris bring up some boxes to store in my apartment until he moves in. Now, I don't feel guilty about not working out today, because I definitely got that carrying boxes. The podcast went well, too. Were almost caught up and now I can focus on other parts of the podcast rather than the audio editing. After doing the podcast Aaron, Chris and I went out to celebrate Chris' birthday, which was yesterday. It was really nice to go out, I enjoy hanging out with my friends like that, and maybe because I don't do it that often I have an exceptionally good time.
