(no subject)
Today was definately a good day. School was actually decent, although Andrew was at Latin Day. Bio was fun too. We were in the computer lab and Jennie and I actually started doing our project. We're making an animal packet which consists mostly of penguins, and coloring. Ohh goodtimes. In English we also read a Modernist poem, which I really liked. But apparently the guy annotated his own work, which is pretty funny.
I actually came home after school for a nap. And then I got ready for Tip-A-Cop (Tip A Cop = Cops for waiters with the aid of waitresses and all tips go towards the Special Olympics). It was so fun. The day started off when I got my shirt. I was wearing 2 under it, so I decided to take one off when no body was in the restaurant but the waitresses and the cops. We were all sitting around like we were for the Christmas party, and it made me miss Dayvid. So anyways I took off the Tip A Cop shirt, and Flo was laughing, and said, "Ashleigh, go to the bathroom!!" So I laughed, and said "pfttt, this is the next fundraiser!" and I guess more people heard me than should have. But it was ok.
So the night went on, we got some good business for a Tuesday, but not as much as we would have had on a Thursday, and it was crowded behind the counter. The cops were nice, and Tim Hankard worked too. Hankard got all excited cause Marvin said he could make pizzas and grinders, so that's what he did.
We got some badass tips For Tip a cop tonight. A couple people left $200 tips, and some left $100 tips. I cashed out a $50 tip, but I'm sure there was much more. The head guy in charge, Ron, said he estimates they made about $2700 with all the participating businesses.
One of our regulars came in today, and he brought a cute friend (I don't remember him, but everyone says he's cute). And when I was rolling silverware, Riss and Flo said that he was asking about me. Here's his profile:

I was flattered but it's also a little weird. Maybe he doesn't know that I'm turning 17 next week. Riss and Flo were all jealous, because he's cute and has money, and I laughed and made them aware that it's a little too illegal.
Never been asked about by a 26 year old before.
So anyways, after that, we had a big fiesta with the staff and it was fun. I just got flattered left and right today, between Ann talking about how I'm a good worker, and how I'm a good kid by the cops, etc. Blah blah blah.
And I got a free shirt.
