(no subject)
Well, these last few days have been reaaally crazy.
To start off, Monday I was waiting to see my new advisor, so I was studying and I get a text from Drew saying that he's out of a job tc closed. I couldn't believe it! I knew he was in class so I couldn't call him, but after talking to a few more people it was for sure. Triple Crown is closed forever!
Drew is unemployed..though he has an interview today at Olive Garden, thanks to his friend Shawn. So hopefully he gets the job. I'm not sure what he'll be doing, either serving or bussing. It's just so crazy that triple crown closed. He had JUST worked on Sunday and then the next day he's out of a job. It's weird to think I spent 3 years working there...and thats where Drew and I met, and we can no longer be in that building.
My advisor for my degree granting college told me I am a little more than halfway done! That made me sooo thrilled! I'm not going to be in college for the rest of my life! Though I do have a lot of classes to take, but I plan on doing summer classes so that I can graduate in a decent amount of time. My goal is to be done in 2 years.
Work today, is going to suck. I can feel it. I was informed that I'm not really on the good side of administration right now. I did say something kind of rude and out of line to Becky, which I realized the moment it came out of my mouth...and I do feel bad for...and I plan on apologizing to her. But this job is really starting to just get under my skin and irritate me. It's like you have to constantly watch your back in fear someone is going to rat you out for something sooo lame. The work environment is so negative. I plan on looking for a new job next week.
This Friday is going to be really exciting! Drew and I have set up a meeting between our parents! Yes, finally. We're taking them to a winery. It'll be a lot of fun.
Ok, well I was a bad girl today and skipped both my classes to sleep. So I'm going to shower...
