(no subject)
Yesterday was my 22nd birthday!
It started out a little weird...my alarm never went off, so I was 20 minutes late to my first class, which I then decided to not attend and go to the library....I fell asleep in one of the chairs...and slept thru my 2nd class...I woke up incredibly groggy but to alot of HAPPY BIRTHDAY text messages, which were nice :)
I became more awake as the day went on..had a crappy gyno appointment later in the day...nothing says happy birthday like a doctor poking around your vagina! (haha)..anyway...after my appt I went shopping for a new top to wear to Drews because he said he was dressing up to make me dinner, so I wanted to look just as nice for him! I was at the mall too long and had enough time to race home, change, and be out the door to his house. His mom and sister left to go out to eat to give us some privacy which I thought was nice of them, his dad was already at band practice.
He made me filet mignon! With mashed potatos, rice, and a lovely salad! (And candles on the table to boot!) It was soooo delicious! Probably the best meal I've ever had! And then he let me open my gifts..he really went out of his way! He got me Shrek 1 &2, the Life Aquatic soundtrack (a personal favorite of both of us!), and Amor Amor..a perfume I've been wanting for over a year now! Everything was just wonderful! After that we drove to my house where my mom had bought me an ice cream cake, since I'm not a fan of real cake)..and then we watched Shrek, or tried too ;-)
It was the perfect birthday, I really couldn't have asked for anything more perfect than that!
