job search = please shoot me
so tuesday i went on the second interview for this marketing company ... for a job i thought would be great. It was in powell, but i'm desperate to leave aladdin's at this point. if not for the fact that i work with morons, I'm not making enough money, and i'm starting to worry about finding insurance.
anyhoo, the tuesday before I'd gone to the first interview, and it went really well. I wasn't sure what exactly the job entailed, and when i asked, the lady kinda beat around the bush and told me about the company and how many advancement opportunities there were. but she invited me back for the second interview, and i figured i'd find out then, as i was told i'd be shadowing someone. they told me to dress for business, but a little more comfortable. so i wore heels that are normally pretty comfortable, and pants that are awesome, but too long. they did not tell me i'd be shadowing someone for a door-to -door marketing job. nope. didn't get that impression at all. especially because when i went for the first interview, there were a lot of people working there in the office. so i had to stay through this hours-long interview, going door to door, and had dirty dress pants and blisters on my feet to show for it. I was beyond pissed. at least she bought me lunch. at lunch she told me about all the amazing advancement opportunities, and how you could end up running your own marketing company. nope. don't care. i don't do door-to-door.
boo. I hope they all burn.
that about sums up how my job search has been going.
I think i'd rather take a hole in the head than go through something like that again.
anyhoo, on a happier note, my halloween party is tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really excited. my costume is hilarious. and me and trina made harry buffalo. yum.
needless to say, it should be a blast. hope to see you all there!
