genocide?
oh, the freaky freaky activists we get here at lovely rainy osu.
today there are people with a huge set up of signs like billboard size, that have pictures of aborted fetuses on them. it's a lovely sight to witness as you're walking to class.
They put up these signs that warn: "genocide pictures ahead". and then they have the audacity to put a picture from the Holocaust next to a picture of an aborted fetus, as if that is valid means for comparrison.
I'm all for free speech rights.
however, they are wrong on so many counts. first of all, they have the wrong definition of genocide. genocide is the systematic killing of a certain group. Babies are not a group. not in terms of genocide, anyway. and pregnant women choose to abort because, what, they just hate babies so much? It really pisses me off, therefore, that they compare abortion to the holocaust of all things! augh. I'm not even going to go into it. it makes me want to strangle people.
also, i'm not going to get into the words they have accompanying the pictures, and how wrong they are, because then this post would take all day.
Bottom line, if you're going to take advantage of your free speech rights just to be obnoxious, the least you could do is make sure you have your facts in order first.
And i don't care how disgusting they look, but showing me pictures of dead babies is not going to change my views on abortion. If it does change anyone's views, then that peorson is stupid and needs to look up the facts.
We should start a pro-abortion campaign, because the world is over-populated, and abortion is just one of the things we can do to help. take action today!
