Huge Leap....
So the band has progressed rediculously fast lastely... We have our first gig scheduled. It's this Tuesday July first at the Pegasus Lounge in Tampa. Its not a paying gig or anything, but we're just wanting to get our name out there.
Then if they like us we'll be able to schedule more shows with other bands and actually make a little money, which will be sweet!
We also went out last week and bought like $300 worth of equipment. a mixer, guitar strings, a new snare head and tuning key and 3 boom stands. we were gonna get mics but we ran out of cash. so we planned on just using our crappy ones for a while then get new ones, but then thursday my parents surprised us with the new mics we wanted, which was wicked cool of them.
the equipment works great and we're gonna start recording all of our songs and finish writing the 4 or 5 we have partially written after this show. it should be a pretty exciting next couple weeks..
