Fifteen minutes of fame gone by
So, I'm not going to be in the talent show. I'm actually not sad about it to be honest. I don't think I'd be well enough in time for it anyway because of those little vermin in the doctor's office over the weekend. And by vermin I mean annoying little kid who kept on coughing and spreading her germs, AND her irresponsible mother.
At least I have this Saturday to look forward to--the anime club is showing Simoun and I've been wanting to see it for a while. (What can I say? Coming of age story + mecha + innocent girlhood relationships = a pretty darn good anime in my book.)
I'm still miffed about the whole DS thing. Yeah. Sore subject I should probably get over but who cares?
I'm also miffed about the little git in Wickham who decided to bring a router and screw up wireless internet for the good people who work their butts off adjusting and readjust their computers to pick up the signal.
So, today was pajama day. And when in Rome, wear frickin' pajamas as I say. Not that I was going to change out of the ones I was in anyway. Too comfy and I felt too darn lazy.
Tomorrow is nerd day and I don't really have all that many nerdy-looking articles of clothing anymore. Probably going to wear my nerdiest clothing and carry around my remaining DS Lite and my manga. That sounds nerdy enough, right?
Wednesday is Character dress-up day. And I really don't have any characters I can easily dress up as. I don't have a black wig so I can't dress up as Abby Sciuto from NCIS like I wanted to. And not only do I lack a black wig, but it's too friggin' cold to dress as Bardock anyway. Who knows. Maybe I'll dress as The Hurricane or a Pokemon Trainer or something.
I probably won't really do tie-dye day or fave player day because I really don't have any tie dye and I don't really like any of the football players. Arrogant entitled gits.
And since I feel like reiterating that meme...
