Hello there. The purpose of this entry is to change your life. Yes, I said change your life. If you have a closed mind you probably won't be interested. Fortunately I have lots of intelligent friends (I did go to Pine View) so I figure I can share this with everybody. I will try to include as little math as possible. I want you to read this all the way thought. Take this as you will. There is no right and no wrong, there just is.
In mathematics, there was a French mathematician in the 18th century named Fourier. He published a paper proving that any signal can be represented as an infinite sum of frequencies.
Let me provide a physical real example. Say you have an infinite number of measuring cups used in cooking. The biggest one is 1/2 cup, then 1/4 cup, then 1/8 and so on. Each measuring cup is half the amount of the previous one. You fill each one with liquid. If you pour them all in one container, you will end up with one cup. Mathematically you will have .99999999 of a cup, but for all baking intents and purposes, you have a cup of liquid.
Now imagine an audio signal. Fourier proved that the audio signal (or any signal for that matter) can be broken up into infinitely many sine and cosine waves of different frequencies that add up to the original signal. Each sine or cosine wave of different frequency is a measuring cup. The higher the frequency, the smaller the measuring cup. This is an easy analogy to grasp.
I've learned in my classes that any thing can be converted from the time domain to the frequency domain. Which means we should be able to represent our physical bodies that reside in the time domain, as an infinite number of frequencies in the frequency domain. We are composed of frequencies. The molecules that make up our bodies have electrons flying around them. Not all electrons rotate at the same frequency, hence we are composed of frequencies.
Where am I going with all of this? How will this knowledge change your life? Now that you have a basic understanding that we are frequencies as well as physical bodies, I can tell you.
A thought. An idea. It obviously has energy. The energy can be measuring with an electroencephalograph, a brain machine. More significant than having energy, a thought also has a frequency. This is important.
Every morning I wake up and tell myself "I am doing something great, and this greatness is improving every single day". I say it to myself about 3 times. Ever since then, I am noticing more the significance and impact that I have on the actions in my life. More importantly, the actions that are moving my life in a positive direction. Is this a coincidence? Absolutely not.
Thoughts have frequencies. How does someone listen to a radio station? They tune their radio to a specific frequency to hear it. You are allowing that radio station to be heard. Different thoughts have different frequencies. If I keep thinking some thought over and over again, I open myself up that frequency. When I say that I'm doing something great, it allows me to draw energy from the universe that will make me great. The universe is huge with plenty of energy for everybody.
If you want to listen to 101.1 FM, you tune your radio to 101.1 FM. You could probably hear it at 101.2 FM or 101.3 maybe, but you get the best reception when you know exactly what frequency you want. A clearer concise idea has a clearer and more concise frequency making it easier for the universe to provide this energy for me.
When I ask for something, it can't be fuzzy or ambiguous. If I say 'think of a car', what pops into your head? A sedan, a sports car, a coupe? Now what if I say 'think of a red convertible'? What pops into your head? They are both cars, but one idea is much clearer and concise than the other.
The same thing when you ask for something in your life. There are a few pitfalls which people can get lost in.
First off, do NOT use negatives. The universe doesn't understand this. If you say 'I don't want to be fat', you are sending out a thought, a frequency 'I want to be fat'. Why is this? It's really quite simple. I'll prove it with some simple easy to understand math.
We all know a sine and cosine wave. It goes from -1 to 1 with a certain frequency. A cosine is just a shifted sine. If you have a sine wave that does 1000 cycles/sec, it will look the exactly the same as a cosine wave that does 1000 cycles/sec. The only different is a 90 degree shift. But that shift only matters to the person who sends it out. If I gave you a graph of a sine wave and of a cosine wave that had no markings on the x axis (time domain), and I asked you to pick out which was the sine and which the cosine, you wouldn't be able to.
A negative statement is just a frequency shift. I don't want to be fat means -1*(I want to be fat). Instead of saying I don't want to be fat, say I want to be healthy.
This comes to another pitfall, how you word the statement. Just like a radio signal, your mind's frequency has to be clear and precise. 'I want to be healthy' and 'I am healthy' are two different statements, but the latter will get there. You have to fake it until you make it. Its real easy to do.
Imagine if you were to order something out of a catlog, say a sweater. Once you place the order and give your credit card, do you have to worry about that sweater showing up in a few weeks? Absolutely not. Especially if its from a big company like Sears or Cutco. In your mind, you already have that sweater.
The universe is a huge company and when you say 'I am healthy', even if you aren't, it sends out a more powerful frequency than saying 'I want to be healthy'. Notice how I say "I am doing something great", not "I want to do something great". Its a sublte difference, but it makes all the difference in the world. The best key is to think in the present tense as if what you want has already happened.
Another pitfall people fall into is a time constraint. If we order a sweater, we can get it faster by paying for faster shipping if we really really need it. The universe doesn't do that. If you say "I am healthy by tomorrow", that will never happen. Mainly because tomorrow will never happen, its always today. Also, gramatically it doesn't make sense. "Starting today, I am healthy" has the same problem. Giving the universe a time limit also provides you with a huge letdown if it can't provide in the time you specified. Its a good idea to avoid time all together.
Thats it. Oh, one more thing. Make sure that you have good intentions. The universe knows. If you wake up in the morning and say "I am really really physically strong" thats fine. But if you want to be really strong to beat someone up or something mean like that, it won't happen. At least not as fast.
So now we come to point where you can change your life. What do you want? Form a clear statement in the present tense without negatives or time constraints. Say it to yourself. The best time to do this is in the morning when you just wake up because your mind is the clearest. Clearest in the sense of being able to send out a crisp clean frequency.
For those religious types out there, this is what is preached in many religions. This is what Jesus-based religions would call praying. "Ask and ye shall recieve". The problem is the religion has completely changed from when it was originally formed, so the proper way to pray has been lost. This is also found in many metaphysical societies, like the Builders Of The Adytum. Instead of praying, they have you write what you want down and place it under your bed. When you wake up in the morning, you read it aloud. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
As you all know, I'm definately not a religous person, but I will put a psalm on here. Nina has a picture of it. For the past 2.5 years I never really understood it, until recently. It is from Hebrews 11:1. It states "Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see". You need to be sure of what you want, a clear crisp idea. You also need to act like you have it already, faith. This is all faith is, trusting that what you want will come to you. I was raised Jesus-based. One thing I remember was Jesus telling his disciples that you only need as much faith as a mustard seed to get what you want. Which isn't a lot.
The bible is a great book. The problem is too many people have forgotten why it was written. It is trying to teach people how to be good and improve their lives with fables. Much like The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Religion has people killing themselves over the exact verbiage the boy's father told him about pretending to see a wolf. Or what color the boy's tunic was, or some other mundane detail. They completely miss the point. We need to start reading between the lines, not between the letters.
So thats it. Try it out. Wake up tomorrow and say "I have a great parking spot" 3 times and firmly believe it. See what happens.
