Information about L.I.V.E. UCF:
LIVE UCF was created by old Student Government leaders and new student leaders in an effort to better represent the UCF student body. 75 percent of L I VE UCF sat on the previous Student Government Association Senate last year. The other 25 percent are established student leaders with credible accomplishments in organizations such as the Office of Student Involvement, Campus Activities Board, Inter Fraternal Council, Panhellenic, Hillel, Campus Crusade for Christ, Progressive council, and many more.
With this combination of leadership, involvement, virtue, and experience we can represent the UCF Student Body in ways that Student Senate's never could have. We also promote Diversity amongst our members and encourage Greeks, non-Greeks, multicultural students, Democrats, Republicans, conservatives, and liberals to get involved with the university and look out for fellow student interests, while at the same time efficiently conducting business and effectively communicating our thoughts to the state of Florida.
Out of the 11 possible Senate leadership positions available, 10 are held by members of
L I V E UCF including: Speaker of the Senate, President Pro Tempore, Deputy Pro Tempore of Senate Operations, Deputy Pro Tempore of Legislative Affairs, FAO Chair, CRT Chair, ORC Chair, E&A Chair, SPR Chair, GAC Chair
L I V E UCF has 37 returning members of the 37th Student Senate which was part of the “2005 Public University Best Student Government.”
E-mail approved by Chief Election Commissioner Leah Walker on September 26, 2005.
