Entry #716- Isn't this exactly where you like me?
Today...
English was good. Deulen is really growing on me. She reminds me of Ritchie more and more every day, which is a good thing that I only have her this year, because cool young teachers tend to get cranky and strict their second year of teaching. But! I got a 98% on my Beowulf essay, not that I was ever really worried, but it was still a good thing. Oh, and Amy thinks that Nick Sutton was trying to flirt with me today. I still think it was him being annoying, because he has acted that way since freshmen year. So who knows.
Astronomy we did presentations, which were good. Until we got off on a tangent and Pennell was talking for a while and I spaced out big time, and I have no clue what happened during that time. Go me.
Scott, Jillian, and I went out to lunch today (first time in my whole high school career... yay!)... we went to Wendy's, and it was really good. No major rushing or anything, just pure happiness and feeling like a real senior. Overall, not nearly as horrible as it is made out to be, but we also went to a relatively close restaurant... so that might make a difference.
Spanish was pretty normal. We took a vocab test that I seriously learned the words for in about a minute before the test. And then we took a rather larger test on everything we've learned so far and I'm pretty sure I didn't do as well as I could have, but meh, all is well.
Newspaper was sort of bad. We won't go into anything, because it's not overly important. I just don't know when I'm going to get my pages done. Unless I look up all the pictures tonight/tomorrow... that would be the best.
And then I went over to Party America and basically accepted the job. I now have paperwork to fill out and Steve wants me to start work this week (yuck). We'll see how that one works out.
I have to figure out what I'm going to do for duct tape day, because I plan on participating in that one. I doubt I'll do pirate vs. ninja day simply because the only item I have that would remotely be either one is the eye patch I have for astronomy. Duct tape day should be fun though...
