(no subject)
I probably should be going to bed. Or doing laundry. Or dishes. But damnit, I'm sitting here and updating about Christmas instead, so nyah!
We made out like bandits, really. We fretted a bit about the number of presents we got Faith initially (she's into counting and comparing the number of presents her parents get her), but seeing as how we got most of the items on her THREE letters to Santa (ha!) she really couldn't complain. Besides gifts from us, she got gifts from Papa, my dad, my sister, my sister-in-law, my mother, her aunt, her mother, and will get gifts from my memere next Sunday as well. We really should be scaling back *lol*
I got my digital camera from Chandler :) I knew I was getting it (I didn't peek!), but I was still psyched, because I've missed having mine handy over most of the past year. Plus a 1 gig memory card. I also got 2 gift certs to Barnes and Noble, which will make it like Christmas all over again when I bring all my delicious new books home. I got a new Dane Cook cd/dvd set (which we watched last night), a LOVELY new comforter set from his dad (it's absolutely gorgeous, and thick, and heavy, with the bedskirt, shams, and throw pillows to boot!), new jammies from Rik that I'm wearing this minute, MY SKI PANTS!!! from my unborn niece ;), a bunch of new drawing pads and a whole sketching pencil set from my mom, and umm... I'm sure I'm forgetting some other stuff. But really, I got some very awesome, very thoughtful, VERY useful gifts, and I'm super duper happy with everything. Yay! Now if only the weather will hold so we can make it to Dresden Dolls on Saturday...
