tending my green thumb.
I really can't wait until I have my own garden. I love planting all kinds of flowers and love to see them all lined up in a yard. I would absolutely love to work at a Green Thumb nursery or something. Around the end of last summer, Pielow and I found one somewhere in Orange County and went out to buy a potted flower, since I don't have a yard quite yet. I decided on some beautiful alstoemerias and have never looked back. They don't blossom during the winter but now with spring here and summer coming up they are absolutely beautiful and blossoming.
I've named the flower Alastor because I had never heard of the name, alstroemeria, before and had to give it a name close to its real name.
Then, sometime around last week when it was really cold and a little bit rainy in the mornings, I found the most delicate beads of water on its petals and leaves. It was damn awesome!
