There is nothing you can say....

that would make me a joyful girl like the simple sentence, "You have set the mark for the rest of the class." My Lord, it may seem such a simple thing to say, and yet it holds so much power. I guess that's just the way the english language is, so simple and yet so powerful. I vow that I will use that phrase as a teacher when students achieve above and beyond, I hope that I can give that feeling of accomplishment to someone else. I just can't stop thinking about it. I wonder if teachers know how much it can mean to a student when you let them know you enjoyed their work. Rick? :) hehe
On a completely different note, have you ever noticed that people leave the most random things in parking lots? Things that make you wonder, how did that get here? Who left this here, and WHY? Did it fall out of the car? Did they throw out of the window? In the past week alone, I have found a pair of chunky brown slide heels (size 7), three pillows (clean I might add, one with a case on it), a silver necklace, and a baby bottle (filled with milk). These were all on different days (the pillows were all together though) and at different times of day. I think someone in this complex needs to watch their kid, some little kid is throwing mommy's things out of the car as they leave or something. It's just crazy.
Okay, test to finish studying for, so I am off. Later Gators.
