Weird trip to my past
I went to Purgatorio. I found enough clothes to manage an SCA event and drove up with Mary for the day. I had told Eilis that I'd try and make at least one event before she stepped down from being Queen. Today she stepped down and I managed to surprise her by showing up unexpectedly. That was fun! It was both very familiar and very weird. The place/look/sound was the same SCA that I remember, but I only know a few people these days, old timers all of them :) Some people recognized me - and some did not. I didn't remind the ones who didn't. There are some advantages to getting older, I'm much more centered and less inclined to politics of the persona.
