back from vacation

I just got back from a week long cruise to Alaska. Celebrity Cruise is a nice ship with great service. Alaska is awesome and once I get my pics organized I'll post them on my Flickr and link here. My wonderful friends were awesome to be with and Candy is an awesome cruise wife! The SeaSocks experience however was not awesome. It wasn't well organized and I'll not be going on any future ones. In fact that part made me quite cranky. But, enough with the negative. I discovered that Cynthia is the sister of my heart and we both *love* museums and cultural stuff. We had a blast in Ketchikan at the cultural center. We even bought a membership in the Alaska Geographic Society - mostly because of the awesome pins and canvas bag with the interlocked raven/bear logo. I'll definitely go cruising again.

Next year some other social knitting holiday will suggest itself and it will be awesome, I'm sure of it.
