Knitting better today
So I got a look at the new Cat Bordhi book - New Pathways for Sock Knitters - available at Purlescence Yarns (and she's coming to sign it on the 25th!) It is truly awesome!! She has the most wonderful way of looking at things and it's got lots of great technical info as well. So, there I was drooling over this book when the perfect pattern for my Monsoon yarn (the former penis sock) just jumped out at me. I can't even describe what the patterning does, but it's cool!
I also restarted the sleeve for the Ribby Pulli and it's looking much much better. Much happier knitter!
In other news, I have to meet with the Council on Aging social worker tomorrow for Sandi's mom - oh joy.
Summer is almost over and I'm thinking I'm ready for the new school year, with **gasp** a middle school student! yes, Virginia, that's right Ru starts 6th grade this year.
