"Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. ..

Water from the side of Christ, wash me...

Passion of Christ, GIVE ME STRENGTH!"
Every boot in Le Saunda at City Gate Outlets (5 minutes away from the airport and connected to the Novotel Citygate Hotel) was on sale, with styles going for $200-$400++ from an original price of $1,000++!! I died, I totally died! (and walked away with a pair of suede camel wedge boots).

BALLY bags in chartreuse and chocolate. (Available at Ocean Centre, Kowloon)

FENDI store at Kowloon. This store had everything from the B bags to Fendi baby shoes and strollers! Not to mention a wall-full of fur shawls. Well, nakaka-disturb to see a large wall covered with Rabbit, Fox and Chinchilla fur stoles, each going for several thousands of HK dollars! I stroked the $113,000 Chinchilla/Fox stole, thinking about the horrors those creatures went through to be skinned alive =...( Yet I continue to use FENDI bags regardless of the brand's pride in its fur products. Guilty!!

FENDI's 2nd floor boasted of "specialty items" (like the opulent fur coat above) and several Spy bags in every color and design!!

PRADA store at Canton Road. What I love about this store is that they actually have a selection of clothes and the pretties, pretties shoes in the loveliest, loveliest shades of dusky rose, mauve, blush, pink...

...like this velvet bootie in fuschia (about $7,800.00)

For those who have been permanently rendered crazy by their make-up obsessions, SASA is a one-stop shop for cheap thrills (Neutrogena, Maybelline, etc.) and high-end (Anna Sui, Lancome, Clarins, etc.) beauty finds. The rack of nail polishes (from $5-$15, depending on the brand) will torture you with endless shades of every color.

The queen of avant-garde, VIVIENNE WESTWOOD (at Ocean Centre, Kowloon). If I only had several thousands more, I'd get a thing or two from this store (groan)..

On top of my shopping list was colorful tights which, is available virtually nowhere in Manila, so when I spotted this store (along Haiphong corner Nathan road--it's not hard to miss!), I panic bought! They also sell socks, trashy lingerie, bra and panty sets, tank tops, leggings and swimsuits.

During our time-strapped visit (5 hours) to Macau, we discovered Tie Rack, an accessories store which sold a variety of scarves, ties, fashion jewelry, hats, cashmere items and genuine pashminas (right) which were on sale--buy one take 1--at $1,050.

AND AFTER 4 DAYS OF FEET-BURNIN' SHOPPING, MY FAVORITE FINDS AND RECOMMENDATIONS. (All prices are in HK dollars. Sorry, I can't remember the exact names of some of the stores, but leave a message if you want more accurate directions to specific places.

Most pajama sets go for $39-$49 while nighties go for $69. These are the "chaka" type of pajamas that you can get at tiangge-style shops. I got this set in particular because my sleep clothes got subjected to an evening of joyful flatulence.

LE SAUNDA BROWN SUEDE BOOTS (front), about $400 (Le Saunda, CityGate Outlets); PRADA BLACK ZIP-UP LEATHER BOOTS (back), $5,200 (Prada Store, Canton Road, Kowloon)

7 FOR ALL MANKIND DENIM MINISKIRTS, $400-$500++ each (7 For All Mankind Store, Citygate Outlets)
7 was on sale during my stay at Citygate and they were having a "Buy 2 Take 1 Free" sale with jeans going for $400-$500 each (about Php2,000-2,5000, which is a major steal considering that these jeans sell for Php10,000 and up). It was tough having to search for size 24s--the Citygate branch had a very extensive collection of pants, shorts, minis and tops--before check-out at 12pm. I ended up with these minis because they were the only ones that fit me within the 20 minutes I had to panic buy!

VENETIAN MACAU MAGNETIC MONKEY, $75 (The Grand Canal Shoppes, 3rd Floor, The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, Macau)
