(no subject)
So...I was really enjoying those Saturdays off, but I was asked today if I could switch my day off to maybe Friday or Sunday and be the Lead Instructor for the new Sylvan in Chino Hills. What I will be doing is testing new and returning students, in charge of recording ratios, managing the board, answering the phone, teaching, updating folders, and basically everything! I will have my own key and I am learning the ropes NOW! I had a crash course today and then I won't get to learn more until Thursday since Monday the centers are all closed and they don't need me back until then due to the small amount of students enrolled. I am so excited. I am definitely NOT making a career out of Sylvan, but for the time being, this is what pays the bills so I better milk it for what it's worth. I will be done by 1:30 at the latest on Saturday and I am right off the 71 near the 91 so I can fly over to Gerry's house or he can come to my house afterwards. We usually don't get started until then anyways, so things should be fine. I will still get my time off for July and I will still get time off for Lewis' wedding...so no worries there!
