(no subject)
It seems that maid service is included in my rent. I came home last night to find the dishes washed, the floor vacuumed, and the trash removed. Unfortunately, this helpful person also threw away all the twisty-ties I had saved as toys for the cats.
I found the local grocery store (Giant), which seems a bit overpriced. I'm not sure if it's a regional thing, but paying $2.99 for a small box of Triscuits is upsetting. I'll have to ask around and see if there's a Cub Foods or equivalent.
Classes have been interesting for the most part; only once was I in danger of falling asleep. My classmates are easy to get along with. The majority of students are Diplomatic Security, so there are lots of young, buff men with short haircuts in suits. Could be worse. =) I am also wearing suits. They are more comfortable than I thought.
REALLY looking forward to this weekend, when I can finally relax and not organize anything. Well, relax as much as someone can who is waiting to hear where she'll spend the next two years of her life...
