Just landed a house-sitting job today for the spring, for a different family. For *three weeks*! Happy happy. Twill be fun.
Today I went on another little adventure with Max. We got some lunch and went to the Monarch Butterfly Grove, and I actually saw the clumps of butterflies this time! It was beautiful. There must have been fifty clumps of them in the ravine, looking like quivering dead leaves. That is, till they spread their wings and you saw light come through the orange patterns. Twas very very cool.
Off to clean my room and read 'The Art of Happiness.'
Ooh! Also might get a security job part-time to pay for gifts. Will find out more details soon.
