(no subject)
Recap of my life since this weekend....
Ok... so my phone has been retrieved. It was true, I did leave it at Eckherds and the manager was very very very kind to call my mother and tell her that I left it there. It's not like my mom was going to pick it up for me or something since she lives in FLORIDA but thanks anyways lol. I am sooo lucky and we all are that there are kind people in this world today :).
So I did meet Megan as planned and we did go into the city. I totally felt like a tourist lol and we were sorta treated like ones too. When we got out from Penn, and walked towards Macy's and stopped in Macy's to ask where the Manhattan Mall was ( which on the directions to the thing which I didn't print out or anything ) said it was right across the street from Macy's and near the Empire State building. Which Megan has claimed has never seen before in her life lol. Or it "should be bigger" but hey whatever. I just realized though that Megan was originally heading us towards a subway and we didn't have to take it since the place was really across the damn street lol. Thanks Megan but you try. So anyways we stopped in Macy's and asked a security dude where Manhattan Mall was and he looked at us like we were retarted or something which indeed we were and I thought he said just go out and make a right but it somehow turned into Make a left and go down to Broadway and 37th which wasn't true but it was RIGHT ACROSS THE FUCKING STREET lol.
We got into the mall and I was like its on level C-2 and we were like What the fuck is that and then we looked down and it was like Teeny Booper Hell. It really wasn't that many people but still. It was kind of a cool day. It was a bit annoying. Like there were tons of tweleve year olds there and I felt like I was like 30 and I am still a technically a teen but anyways I did feel old. We talked to the people around us. I think their stories would of been more amusing if I was still 15 years old, but whatever.
I ended up buying the 2nd Season DVD which I probably won't watch but who knows lol. When we got into the store it was pretty quiet and weird. Like as soon as I walked up to the table I was like Why the hell am I here lol. I got some pictures of Jake Epstein and yeah I really don't sound that excited about it. He seemed prickish. Like the 15 year old who was behind us was saying there was some "incident" where some girl harassed him or something in NY and he had to be "coaxed" to do another signing or something. But whatever he seemed like drugged up and prickish to me. He was the first one at the table and I was like "Hey, how are you?" and was like I'm good and it totally sounded fake and I was like "you don't seem like it" and he was like yeah I think im loosing my voice and I was thinking so not what I was talking about dude but whatever. Next was Miriam McDonald, Emma and she was like HI like really really friendly and I was like hi thats about it. I asked Andrea Lewis when her CD was coming out. I probably won't buy it but I was like let me make some convo at least. And last but not least was Shane Kippel, Spinner who is now my favorite. He just seemed cool. Although I was like what's up he was like really cool. He gave me cool vibes. And Megan commented to him about the nifty Degrassi bracelet that we all got free and he was wearing it too.
I think getting my Degrassi wristband ( like the LiveSTRONG ones ) was the highlight of my day and my jamba juice which I got a stomach ache from later one because was gigantic. :) And of course spending time with Megan which we must do again.
Other than that... I signed up for that class that I am hoping I don't have to take. Crossing my fingers. They will call me back soon they said. They just called.
