I'll be there for you

OK, so Sarabeth took it upon herself to design the senior shirts for my pledge class. Whatever.

Here's the discussion:

Sarabeth
Hey girls,

Thank you all for responding about the senior shirts, it's been very helpful. Ideally, I would like these shirts to appeal to as many of us as possible so I have come up with a list of options before we put the final shirt together. Please look over these options and let me know which ones you would like. I will base the final decision on the e-mails I get. If I get 3 responses, I will base the t-shirt on those 3 responses. In other words, if you have an opinion e-mail me. If you have not yet sent me your size and name please do so. We will be paying for these out of favor fund so make sure you have at least $13 or so in your account. Thanks!

A-lo,
Sarabeth

Shirt style:

A) Hane's her way t-shirt (less fitted)
B) American Apparel girly jersey t (more fitted)

*Note: If you are concerned about how these will fit go to www.customink.com, click on girl's styles, and look at the shirts. If you click on sizing guide you will get a pop up window that will have measurements as well as pictures of people wearing the shirt.

Color:
A) light pink (fitted shirt only)
B) fuchsia (dark pink basically)
C) black
D) red

Graphic: (to go on back of shirt with quote)
A) heart
B) star
*Note: pictures are attached to this e-mail if you would like to look at the graphics

Quote:
A) These are the nights we'll never remember with the friends we'll never forget.
B) Sometimes the best way to figure out who you are is to go to a place where you don't have to be anything else.
C) No one could ever know me, no one could ever see me.
Seems you're the only one who knows what it's like to be me.
Someone to face the day with, make it through all the rest with.
Someone I'll always laugh with,
Even at my worst, I'm best with you.

I don't want to sound rude, but count me out if the Friends lyrics end up on the back-- we sang that for my 5th grade graduation and it brings back waaaaay too many bad/irritating things... I'm sure you can understand. It's kind of like my science teacher who used to say "raise the roof, lower the volume".

thanks, SB

SB's response to my response
I understand but I will be picking the quote that gets the most votes. If you're concerned about which one we choose encourage others to vote. Also, I really hope everyone will order a shirt regardless of what it says. This shirts are supposed to be about the 4 years we've spent together and I was hoping everyone could wear them on bid day.

My last response to her response to my response
I understand that, but I can't afford to spend money on a shirt that I won't wear because of the quote. I'm happy for any of the others, but I just wanted to let you know. Like I said, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just saying that I don't want to order the shirt if that's the quote we have on the back. I'm sorry-- I want one of these shirts and I'd love to wear one on bid day, but I just don't want one that has the lyrics to the Friends/5th grade song on it. *shrig*

Now, I'm all about my 4 years at college, I paid my dues and I'm excited to be a senior this year, but if that four years has to be summed up by a trite, overplayed theme song to an out of date sitcom... then I paid too much.

Anyone else with me on this one?

seniors, quotes, theme songs, aoii, shirts, stupid people, friends
