It's Almost Over!
The semester is almost over! I had so many projects due, and I got a whopping 1.5 hours of sleep Tuesday night, but now all that's left is an Elementary Music final and my jury! :) Odd to think that I'm practically a senior! In a year and half, some unlucky kids will have me as their band director!!! Ahhh!!!
Jess and I went up to see Brian and Derek at Tech last weekend. That was fun! Long ass drive, but it was nice to see Bri. We spent Saturday at the waterfalls, and it was gorgeous! Bri has pics of it on his Yahoo Photos! Then we got ice cream, and later we went out for steaks. They were sooo delicious! And we took a nice long walk that night since it was so gorgeous out. We walked through Houghton, all the way across the bridge, and all through Hancock and back! And when I left on Sunday, he made me brownies to take with me. :) Thanks, Bri!
I've been crazy busy trying to take care of things for next year. I was just elected President of MENC and Chair of the SAC, so that's exciting! :)
I'm staying here at MSU to play commencements next weekend, so I'm looking forward to plenty of nights at the bar with everybody here until then! Lauron and DeAnne and I are definitely going to have to go out for drinks, and, oddly enough, my whole TE class is going to Harper's on Wednesday. Kinda an oxymoron to have a TE Bar Crawl, but should be fun anyway.
I'll be in Milford for the summer, working. I've got a few band camps to work too, so that should be fun. It'll be different being home without Dana and everyone there...but you all must still visit!!!!!!!!!! I'll go crazy if you don't! I'm looking forward to going home and seeing Kaden though. He's getting so big!
All in all, life is good. No complaints here!
