Life is good!

Ahh, life is good. Hmm. Lots of stuff happened since I last updated!

Brian, Dana, Ellen, and I all went to see the DSO play at Kensington. Mostly we had fun just trying to stay up the hill and not slide down on the blanket into the people sitting in front of us. Good times! Ahh, and then the lovely wait in traffic. Steve, Caitlin, and Kara came later too! I have some good pics from that night that I will upload as soon as my new hard drive is installed on my computer. That will be a pain though--everything is gone, even my Windows operating system.

So, FYI: you can only count on a hard drive to be reliable for about three years. So, back up all your stuff onto a CD! Do it! Or you'll lose everything like I did. Not fun. Even if your computer is only a year or two old, do it just in case! Good. Thanks. :)

Hmm, what else? Dana, Brian, and Casey came over for dinner one night. Just soup, nothing fancy, but it was fun! Then we all went to Coldstone after and again took a bunch of crazy pictures. I'll post those sometime too!

I've been working a decent amount. I saw GAC at the last outing that I worked. His wife was golfing with the outing, and he was just there for the dinner banquet. It was nice to talk to him for a while. It was so sweet! He said that he still checks the MSU School of Music website each week to see if I'm putting on a recital. Makes me feel like I should do one! So, my MSU flute crew, remind me to try to do one! Haha, he also said that I can take over his job teaching bio at Milford when he retires in four years. Mr. Campbell rocks. It's good teachers like him that inspired me to go into education in the first place. :)

Ahh, and Dana and I had Chinese for lunch! It was great! I love lunches with her! I hope you had a good weekend in Kzoo!

I've been spending a lot of time with Brian lately, and it's been wonderful! We swam, went to the park, hahaha, we watched American Beauty and my mom's reaction to the scene where the guy jerks off in the shower was priceless. :) Brian's also coming with me to Lansing tomorrow so I can get fingerprinted so I can teach at ELHS's band camp. Fun stuff!

And I was supposed to go to the Tiger's game today, but my eyes are infected once again, this time much worse than before. My eyes are soooo red, and they water like crazy in the sunlight. Mom took me to Providence. That was a pain in the butt. I sat there for 2.5 hours to see a doctor for 2 mins and get some eyedrops. I coulda told them what they told me! Now, if I could write my own Rxs, life would be good. Oh well. I got to stay home and babysit Kaden! That's always fun. He's grown sooo much! I was looking at pics of him from a few months ago, and he hardly looks like the same baby! He's gorgeous though, that's for sure! But I'm sad that I missed the time with my siblings, and it was supposed to be part of Father's Day to take my Dad out. :( And I missed the good ballpark hot dogs. There's nothing quite like a dog at the stadium. Yummy.

Sleepy time. Good night world! I hope all is well!
