Warped Tour Day 2

Well, I attended Warped Tour again, and sadly it was my worst experience at a show/ festival ever. I seriously think shows are going down the shitter after today. First off, it was awesome yesterday, there were maybe 10,000 people in a space that could handle about 30,000, so there was plenty of room. Today, I would not be exagerating to say that there was in excess of 65,000 people. It was miserable, it took me 25 min to walk about 30 feet.

The next bad thing was food and drink prices (this complaint goes to yesterday too). A small bottle of water costs $3.00, a small burrito $6.00, and a personal pizza $10.00. This place could give Disneyland a run for it's money in overpriced crap. I'm happy that merchants are still resonable and the most I paid for a shirt was $15.

Thirdly, the people there... AHHHH!!!! Preppy girls everywhere. Girls wearing miniskirts, sandals, and FIXING THEIR MAKEUP! Where the hell did these people come from? There are girls there who look like they are about to go to the mall, and they are wandering into pits! Why does my scene have to be popular? And there were a bunch of jock assholes who think all that goes on in a pit is ass-kicking! There was no community, they wouldn't help people up if they fell, they'd leave em there. It was really sad. There was also a bunch of people throwing stuff, which is totally disrespectful, immature, and f%$#ing stupid. Why pay all that money to pelt a hard working band and their fans who are estatic to be there?

Fortunatly, all this was happening at the main stages, and the side stages (aka the Hardcore stages) had cool people that knew what goes on at shows. I can't wait till this fad goes away, and the only people that go to shows are people that love the music, and not wanting to see how hot Ryan Kay from Yellowcard is in person.

Sorry for my rantings, I'm just pissed cuz I left early due to the above reasons, and only got to see a few bands... Rise Against, Saosin, Flogging Molly, Coheed And Cambria, New Found Glory, Senses Fail, and Juliette and The Licks.
