HIM - Sunday November 14 - Irving Plaza
Well Seyran and I left my house around 4pm and didnt get to the show untill about 7pm. It wasnt to bad getting to NY, but then we had to wait in the taxi line infront of the Port Athority (We were Taxi Noobs) and that took a little longer than forever. When we got to the show we were able to meet up with Kandas and everything was cool. She was at the front of the line so we talked to her for a while and then went to the back of the line before the show started. It was pretty fucking cold over there, so waiting for 30mins seemed like a few hours. Anthony and Jenn found us in the line, and we cought up on stuff and talked untill we finally got into the show. I bought two shirts (One tour shirt, and one Love Metal shirt.) Then Seyran took 100 condoms from the table they had out, and we found a cool spot to hang out in while the bands played. I dont remember the name of the first band, but they sucked. Monster Magnet on the other hand rocked hard! They are a damn good live band. HIM finally came on at 10:30pm and everything was amazing. Seyran, Kandas, Anthony, Jenn and I were just standing around when Donna and (S)Ally came in. (S)Ally and I were together for most of the show giving comments about the show and what not. The sound was amazing, and the band was very in tune. Anthony told me that the night before that Ville was dead drunk, and the show was very messy, this show was not. Hung-over Ville does a better sounding show than Drunk Ville, but Drunk Ville does a funnier show than Hung-over Ville, or so I am told :D
